# Welcome

Assembly Studio is the platform for running your firm and serving your clients — CRM, portal, built-in apps, and an AI app builder that lets you describe a new app in plain English and have it built for you. No glue code, no separate auth system, no third tool for your clients to learn.

## How the Assembly Studio is different

Today's app builders are great for internal tools, websites, and one-off apps. But if you're serving real paying clients, you don't want a single isolated app. You want a unified, reliable, and polished client experience.

Describe what you want — an onboarding wizard, an approvals workflow, a community space. Assembly Studio generates an app that works with your existing contacts and team, respects your permissions, and integrates notifications. Every app deploys to your portal, not as a standalone tool on a separate URL, but as a native part of your client experience.

And you don't have to build everything yourself. Assembly ships with a library of vetted apps and an embed library that lets you turn on features with one click — for client messaging, payments, proposals, project management, and more.
