# Squarespace embed

> Embed your Squarespace website directly within your client portal.

Assembly enables embedding your Squarespace website directly within your client portal. The process involves configuring the app through Assembly's App Library and adjusting Squarespace security settings.

## App setup

Follow these steps to set up the Squarespace embed:

1. Navigate to **App Library** and select **+ Add an app** in the top right corner.

2. Choose **Squarespace** from the **Client-facing** section.

3. Click **Install** in the top-right after selecting the app.

4. Assign the app a name and icon, then configure client visibility settings.

5. We recommend setting this up as an **automatic** app so that your Squarespace website will be visible to all clients. Alternatively, designate it as manual if restricting to specific clients.

6. Keep the app configured as **Show as embed** to prevent clients from leaving the portal.

7. Ensure your Squarespace website is public and published through account settings.

8. Access **Settings**, then **Developer-tools** in your Squarespace account.

9. Locate the **Clickjack protection** option under **Website protection** and toggle it off to enable external embedding.

10. Copy your Squarespace link.

11. Return to the **App Library** page and paste the link into the content box.

12. Click **Add** to complete the setup and access the app.
