# Looker Studio embed

> Embed Looker Studio dashboards and reports directly into your portal.

## Overview

Looker Studio enables you to transform data into customizable dashboards and reports. Assembly simplifies the process of embedding these dashboards directly into your portal.

## App setup

Follow these steps to set up the Looker Studio embed:

1. Navigate to **App Library** and select **+ Add an app** from the top right corner.
2. Choose **Looker Studio** from the **Client-facing** section.
3. Click **Install** in the top-right corner.
4. Configure a title and icon representing the app.
5. Determine visibility: set as manual to customize data per client, or automatic for all clients.
6. Click **Add** to proceed to the app page where you can configure embeds for clients, groups, or companies.
7. Select **Add** to create your first embed or link, then choose relevant clients or companies.
8. Choose **Show as embed** to keep clients within the portal.
9. Open your Looker Studio home page and select the document to share.
10. Click **Edit**, then access the **Share** button in the top-right corner.
11. Set link permissions to **Public (anyone with the link can view)**.
12. Click the drop-down arrow next to the **Share** button.
13. Enable embedding functionality.
14. Copy either the embed code or embed URL.
15. Return to Assembly's app page, paste the copied content into the content box, and click **Save**.
