# Google Calendar embed

> Embed your Google Calendar directly into Assembly so clients can view your shared calendar.

## Overview

You can embed your Google Calendar directly into Assembly, making it easy for clients to view your shared calendar.

## App setup

1. Go to **App Library**, and click **+ Add an app** in the top right corner.
2. Select **Google Calendar** in the **Client-facing** section.
3. After clicking on the app, click on **Install** in the top-right.
4. Give the app a name and icon, and configure whether all clients can see it or only a subset.
5. We recommend setting this up as an **automatic** App if you want your file to be visible to all clients. If you only want this App to be visible to one or more specific clients, set this as a **manual** App.
6. Leave the app set to **Show as embed** so that the client isn't directed outside of the portal.
7. Open your Google Calendar in your browser.
8. Click the gear icon in the top-right and select **Settings**.
9. Click the name of the calendar you want to embed from the sidebar under **Settings for my calendars**. This will open the calendar settings.
10. Find the **Access permissions for events** section on the page.
11. Check the box next to **Make available to public**, and choose the permissions you would like from the dropdown. We recommend using the **See all event details** option.
12. Next, scroll down to the **Integrate calendar** section and find the **Embed code**. Copy the iframe code.
13. You can click the **Customize** button if you want to customize the display of the calendar (optional).
14. Go back to the **App Library** page and paste the copied iframe code into the content box.
15. Click **Add** to be redirected to the app.
